Afterschool Programmes That Keep Kids Active, Social & Confident

Movement-based afterschool programmes focused on confidence, coordination, teamwork & healthy habits — helping children stay active, engaged & supported beyond the classroom.

As the programme grew, so did the children

We quickly recognised the importance of continuing that journey into the school-age years, allowing children to build on the confidence and skills they developed during their early childhood experiences. That vision led to the creation of Kick Start Movements Afterschool, a place where children can continue to grow physically, socially, and emotionally in a safe, active, and supportive environment.

Every activity is designed to help children feel included, supported, and encouraged to reach their full potential.

We are proud that Skerries, Dublin is the very first home of Kick Start Movements Afterschool. It marks the beginning of an exciting journey, with plans to bring the same energy, care, and community spirit to more locations in the future. At Kick Start Movements Afterschool, we believe every child deserves the opportunity to move, grow, connect, and thrive, and we are proud to be part of that journey from the very beginning.

Hear It From Parents

My two boys have just finished a week Easter camp in St.Aidan's. They loved it!!! Every single one of the guys were brilliant. My older boy can be quite anxious and they took him under their wing and made me leaving so much easier. I felt comfortable leaving them, knowing they would be well minded and have hours of fun. Would 100% recommend their camps to anyone.
My son (5) and daughter (4) attended the Easter camp in St.Aidan’s. They absolutely loved it and were so excited to go everyday. The leaders were brilliant and they knew so much about my two after only a couple of hours. The kids wanted to stay longer every time I collected them. We cannot wait for the Summer camp :)
My son is doing the kickstart summer camp this week and he is absolutely loving it. He has been all chat about it and how carrots and ginger are good for you. I highly recommend kickstart the care and attention they give the children is second to none. The whole team are so kind.
